LIFT: Lending Inspirational Friendship Together
Our Mission is to support the advancement of women in the Culver area through mentorship by leveraging the LIFT membership’s collective knowledge, skills, and expertise.
Our Organization
Established in 2011, LIFT is a group of Culver women working together to mentor and inspire local women seeking information, skills, and resources to improve their personal and professional lives. The members of LIFT are contributors to Marshall County Community Foundation’s LIFT Endowment Fund, which is designed to provide financial assistance in fulfilling LIFT’s mission. Complete a LIFT Membership application form to learn more about becoming a mentor.
Women’s Empowerment Series
LIFT offers group mentorship through monthly workshops in Culver. The 8 week program covers the following topics for 2026:
March 30: Building Resilience and Confidence
April 27: Financial Planning Foundations
May 18: Healthy Living on a Budget
June 22: Healthy Cooking on a Budget
July 20: Career and Personal Growth
Aug 17: Cell Phone Plan Options and Other Money-Saving Strategies
Sep 14: Healthy Relationships
Sep 28: Celebration
We also connect LIFT mentees with existing resources.
Next Session Starts: March 30th
Mondays at 8:30-9:30 AM.
Once your application is reviewed and accepted, you will receive an email invitation with details to attend the Women’s Empowerment Series. The sessions are held in Culver, IN.

Please Note: We are a group of volunteers. We are unable to offer urgent or individual assistance.

LIFT is a mentorship program that aims to help local women discover their own purpose, strengths, and goals. LIFT guides women to identify and implement their action plans. LIFT members have a variety of professional talents and community service interests to share with mentees.

LIFT offers a group mentorship program for local women in need. Sessions are held once per month in Culver. The curriculum covers the following topics:
Building Resilience and Confidence
Financial Planning Foundations
Healthy Living and Cooking on a Budget
Career and Personal Growth
Review of Cell Phone Plan Options and Other Money Saving Strategies
Healthy Relationships
We also connect LIFT mentees with existing resources.

We are a small group of volunteers. We are unable to offer:
Provide 1:1 assistance
Direct, urgent, or emergency financial assistance
Provide housing
Provide legal counsel

To join the group mentorship program, complete our initial application. If accepted into the LIFT mentorship program, LIFT will contact you with the details to attend the Women’s Empowerment Series.
